Through the Career & Alumni Network, you can:
- Serve on the VUAA or Guild Board of Directors
- Serve as a regional ambassador to help us choose venues and host more events all over the country. This low-commitment volunteer opportunity is open to anyone in any city: you tell us about an opportunity to get Valpo alumni together, and we give you the tools to make it happen!
- Serve as a service project host for Valpo Alumni Day of Caring or another opportunity
- Serve as a Homecoming volunteer
- Sit down both in-person and virtually for mock interviews with students
- Share job and internship opportunities in your company with Valpo students and alumni
- Represent your company at virtual and on-campus, industry-focused career fairs
- Host Valpo students for a site visit at your company
- Share career advice with Valpo students both in-person and online
- Work with Valpo students who are looking to begin and advance their careers
- Speak to students studying in your field
- Connect with other alumni and students through LinkedIn

- Refer students to Valparaiso University by promoting its programs
- Serve as a volunteer recruiter and college fair representative
- Tour campus with a group of high school students you teach or advise
