The Valparaiso University Alumni Office can provide you with everything that you need to fully enjoy Motor City Madness on March 7th and 8th. Call 219-464-5142 by Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. CST. If you purchased tickets through the Alumni Office, you will pick these tickets up at the Valpo Will Call area inside the west entrance door of the Joe Louis Arena.
Join alumni, students and friends to hear the Valpo Pep band and Cheerleaders and see our Crusaderettes perform both during the game and at the pre-game dinners (featuring special guest, Homer Drew!)!

Monday, March 7th Semifinal Event – Pre-game dinner and lower bowl ticket -- $55.00
The Legends Club is on the Rehmann Suite Level of the Joe Louis Arena and offers event space in a plush atmosphere. Great for entertaining with a panoramic view of the arena floor. The Club will be open at 5 p.m. EST and you will enjoy a buffet of:
Salad - Michigan Salad
Soup - Tomato Bisque and Mushroom Bisque
Entree - Chicken Florentine and Cedar plank Salmon
Sides – Garlic mashed potatoes, Fresh steamed mixed vegetables
and sautéed Green Beans with tomato and garlic
Dessert – Cookies & Brownies
There will also be a cash bar that will be open during the dinner and the game. You will have a wristband that allows you entrance to the Club until the end of the game.
Tuesday, March 8th Final Event – Pre-game dinner and lower bowl ticket -- $50.00

Crusader Fans from Valparaiso, Ind.—There is still room on the bus—Game tickets are very limited for section 122
Join the Valparaiso University Alumni Association and cheer the Crusaders as they compete in the Horizon League men’s basketball tournament. Come with Valpo based alumni for a road trip to Detroit as the 2016 Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship will take place at Joe Louis Arena. If you are already in the Detroit area, join the pre-game celebration dinners and great lower bowl seating.
Monday, March 7 - Wednesday, March 9
9 a.m. CST – Fan Bus Departs—The bus will stop for 45 minutes for lunch.
Athletics-Recreation Center (Union St. Entrance)
Tickets for the bus are $60 per person. The alumni association has secured a hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn-Detroit Downtown with a special group rate for fans. Reservations can be made by calling 313.967.0900 and mentioning the Valparaiso University room block rate. Rooms are $129 per night, plus applicable state and local taxes. Reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn may also be made through this link.
The bus will shuttle from the hotel to the dinner and will return after the game on both days.
Bus = $60/person
Full package price (bus, both dinners, Motown Madness tickets) = $165/person
Please note that we will be returning to Valparaiso on the bus on Wednesday morning, March 9th leaving at 9:00 a.m. EST.
